All in a day’s work !
Its a great time to be in India.. Even better if you are in Mumbai. Life’s a blur at most
times and multitasking is child’s play. Had cancelled a meet yesterday with a friend whom I did meet today. He popped an innocent question.. .. what did u do yesterday? busy? What it did was to send me into a virtual flashback for a couple of seconds. Literally like hundreds of screenshots of life as I lived it yesterday, whom I spoke to and my thoughts which radically differed within seconds. Spies lead double lives.. most people in cities live as though they have MPD’s. ( multiple personality disorders).

However, like they say beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder and some stunning shots we did manage to capture. So here goes a few captures from the land that was once a jungle.
While these photos have been taken by me, credit for most of these is to be given to Ankeet, without whose mentoring these wouldn’t have been possible.
March 2009: In lieu of the elections the IPL miraculously was shifted to a entirely different country in a matter of days.

September 2010: With 15 days to go for opening, the world realized that the Commonwealth Village was in a mess. The Games were a disaster even before it began. Come 3rd October and India was ready- Again miraculously – We produced as the world says today – the most spectacular opening ceremony and successful Games.

Never has a gesture so innocent caused so much distress to so many!
So there we were sipping beers and red bulls, asking directions for our next destination after completing a long 200 km drive and without lunch while checking the air in the tyres when we decided that was all the adventure we could take. The man explaining to us the route options suggested 2 – the oft taken regular route and a “rocky” road that was a shortcut that led straight to Lonavala. Now, ordinarily we would have taken the regular road. But this was no ordinary time. We were on the road for
