Photoshoot at Powai

With the world environment day round the corner, Ankeet and me decided to have a photo shoot a few days ago to explore the natural beauty that surrounds Powai. I remember hearing stories about the place being a jungle many years ago and how most autowallahs refused to even come here. 20 years of continual construction ( and some might say too much of it)  has changed all that. However, like they say beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder and some stunning shots we did manage to capture. So here goes a few captures from the land that was once a jungle.

While these photos have been taken by me, credit for most of these is to be given to Ankeet, without whose mentoring these wouldn’t have been possible.

Never has a gesture so innocent caused so much distress to so many!
So there we were sipping beers and red bulls, asking directions for our next destination after  completing a long 200 km drive and without lunch while checking the air in the tyres when we decided that was all the adventure we could take. The man explaining to us the route options suggested 2 –  the oft taken regular route and a “rocky” road that was a shortcut that led straight to Lonavala. Now, ordinarily we would have taken the regular road. But this was no ordinary time. We were on the road for
